Boiler Manager (Chemicals Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage operation and performance of multiple high-pressure and high-temperature boilers.
• Handle steam turbine operations.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient boiler and turbine operations across manufacturing sites.
• Monitor boiler parameters, steam generation, fuel consumption, efficiency and overall performance.
• Lead boiler start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting and emergency handling.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination for boilers, turbines and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to boilers and maintain all necessary records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Electrical and other departments for smooth plant operations.
• Lead and guide boiler operators and operating teams.
• Identify opportunities for improving boiler efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and optimizing steam and power generation.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, operating standards and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in boiler operations and steam turbine handling, preferably in chemical/process manufacturing. Boiler Engineer Proficiency Certificate is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with higher capacity high pressure boilers and multiple boiler systems.
• Experience in handling higher-capacity steam turbines will be an added advantage.
