Bodyshop Advisor

• Receive customers and understand vehicle accident/damage-related concerns.
• Inspect vehicles and identify body, paint, and accident-related repairs.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and job cards.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers for claim processing.
• Explain repair requirements, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians, denting/painting teams, and spare-parts departments.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed within committed timelines.
• Conduct quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Keep customers updated about repair status and additional work requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery and explain completed repairs to customers.
• Maintain proper documentation, customer records, and insurance-related paperwork.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Achieve customer satisfaction and bodyshop operational targets.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or relevant qualification preferred.
• 25 years of experience as a Bodyshop Advisor/Service Advisor in an automobile dealership or workshop.
• Good knowledge of body repair, denting, painting, and accident repair processes.
• Knowledge of motor insurance and cashless claim procedures will be an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with DMS/workshop software.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
