Body Shop Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Bodyshop operations, including denting, painting and accident repair.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs as per TAT and quality standards.
• Supervise and manage Denter, Painter, Technician and Bodyshop support staff.
• Monitor job cards, repair estimates, work allocation and job progress.
• Coordinate with Insurance companies, surveyors and customers for claim and repair processes.
• Ensure proper quality control, rework reduction and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor workshop productivity, manpower utilization and bay efficiency.
• Ensure availability and proper coordination of spare parts and materials.
• Maintain Bodyshop MIS, productivity reports and other operational records.
• Ensure compliance with Maruti Suzuki processes, safety standards and workshop procedures.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of complaints.
• Drive team performance, discipline and continuous process improvement.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.Tech / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 48 years of relevant experience in Automobile Bodyshop operations.
• Experience in Maruti Suzuki / OEM-authorized dealership Bodyshop will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Denting, Painting, Accident Repair and Insurance Claims.
• Good understanding of Bodyshop TAT, productivity, quality and cost control.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Good customer handling and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of DMS, MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Ability to manage manpower and achieve operational targets.
