BMS/IBMS IT Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering

Experience: 3–5 years in BMS/IBMS IT infrastructure, building automation or OT/IT support in commercial, IT-park or critical-facility environments. Experience with SCADA, PLC, and industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain BMS servers, workstations, applications and field controller communication (BACnet, Modbus, LON, OPC).
• Manage the OT IP inventory and network records, and monitor database health and growth.
• Coordinate with IT and Cybersecurity on OT vulnerabilities, VAPT and audits. Raise and track IHD tickets to closure.
• Maintain backups, support DR drills and verify backup integrity.
• Run scheduled OS, database and BMS software patching and upgrades under change control, and validate systems afterwards.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports: server health, database capacity, controller communication, alarms, system availability, incident trends and vulnerability status.
• Conduct remote BMS reviews across campuses (alarms, controllers, sensors, trend logs, HVAC sequences of operation, user access) and track closure.
