BMS/DCIM Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Integrated Building Management System (IBMS/BMS) on a 247 basis.
• Monitor equipment status, system alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
• Identify and report faults, alarms and equipment abnormalities to the concerned maintenance team.
• Monitor building and critical facility systems through the BMS platform.
• Generate BMS reports and maintain daily operational records and shift logs.
• Coordinate with electrical, HVAC and other maintenance teams for fault resolution.
• Ensure timely escalation of critical alarms and operational issues.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational guidelines.
• Support routine monitoring and day-to-day BMS operational activities.
• Work in 247 rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as per the duty roster.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in Integrated Building Management System (BMS) operations.
• Hands-on experience in BMS monitoring, alarm management and equipment status monitoring.
• Ability to identify abnormal operating conditions and report faults promptly.
• Experience in generating operational reports and maintaining shift records.
• Good coordination and communication skills for working with maintenance teams.
• Data Centre or critical facility experience will be preferred.
• Must be willing to work in 247 rotational shifts at Hebbal, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
