Role Description The Blockchain Developer will design, build, and maintain blockchain-based services and integrations that power FurlPay’s financial infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing smart contracts, implementing secure transaction workflows, building back-end services and APIs, and integrating blockchain components with existing systems. The role involves collaborating with product managers, security engineers, and other developers to translate requirements into scalable, reliable solutions, as well as reviewing code, writing technical documentation, and optimizing performance across multiple chains. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with the local engineering team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, including experience with smart contracts, multi-chain ecosystems, and token standards.
• Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side architecture.
• Candidates should possess a deep understanding of Cryptography and security best practices for securing transactions, wallets, and distributed applications.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used in blockchain development (such as Solidity, Rust, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python).
• Candidates should possess experience with blockchain frameworks and tools (e.g., Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, Layer-2 solutions, web3 libraries, and node management).
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to write clean, testable code, and familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git).
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred; prior experience in fintech or payments is an advantage.
• Candidates should be able to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and stay current with emerging blockchain and security trends.
