Role Description The Blockchain Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain-based applications and services in a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing smart contracts, implementing secure transaction flows, and integrating blockchain components with back-end services and existing systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical architectures, and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards. The Blockchain Developer will also review code, troubleshoot issues, document implementations, and stay updated on emerging trends in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and distributed ledger technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, including experience with smart contracts and distributed ledger technologies.
• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Hyperledger Fabric, including its architecture, smart contract (chaincode) development, consensus mechanisms, identity and access management (MSP), secure communication protocols, encryption techniques, and cryptographic key management.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with one or more programming languages commonly used in blockchain (such as Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python).
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, write clean and maintainable code, and document solutions clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
