Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and reliability activities on blast furnaces at a steel plant.
  
• Conduct vibration analysis to identify issues with equipment and implement corrective actions.
  
• Ensure efficient operation of cast house systems, including belt conveyors for raw material handling.
  
• Collaborate with shop floor teams to resolve mechanical problems related to furnace operations.
  
• Manage spare parts inventory and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field with expertise in blast furnace mechanics.
  
• Strong understanding of plant operations, particularly in the areas of furnace maintenance and repair.
  
• Proficiency in performing various types of maintenance tasks such as breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance.
