Biztalk Administrator

Development Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BizTalk integrations and middleware solutions.
• Develop and support:
• Schemas (XSD)
• Maps
• Orchestrations
• Pipelines
• Business Rules Engine (BRE)
• Custom .NET Components
• Develop interfaces using:
• SOAP and REST APIs
• WCF Services
• FTP/SFTP
• SQL Adapters
• SAP Adapters
• File-based integrations
• Perform unit testing and integration testing of developed solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Prepare technical design documents and deployment documentation.

Support Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for BizTalk environments.
• Monitor BizTalk applications, interfaces, queues, and integrations.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Troubleshoot failed transactions and perform message resubmission activities.
• Support deployment and release management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent fixes.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams for issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call support rotations as required.
