Role Summary:
Responsible for BIW (Body-in-White) component design and development in the automotive domain, covering the complete product development lifecycle and supplier interaction. Focus on manufacturability, assembly, and testing processes.

What Youll Do:
- Design BIW components considering packaging, material selection, and material properties
- Work across all stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing
- Interact with suppliers for part development
- Conduct part testing, including both Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV)
- Ensure design for manufacturability and assembly
- Perform DFMEA and apply tolerance and GD&T
- Develop sheet metal designs

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Proficiency in UG NX and Teamcenter
- Ability to design BIW components considering packaging area, material selection, and thickness
- Experience across all stages of product development lifecycle
- Supplier interaction experience for part development
- Experience with part testing (DV & PV)
- Design for manufacturability and assembly
- Experience performing DFMEA
- Sheet metal design experience
- Experience applying tolerance and GD&T

Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical / Automotive)
