Executive Field Engineer

Job Summary:

The Field Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of medical equipment at healthcare facilities. The role requires strong technical expertise, adherence to compliance standards, and effective coordination with stakeholders to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and calibrate medical equipment as per manufacturer guidelines
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including component replacement and system restoration
• Technical Support & Training: Provide user training and technical assistance to healthcare professionals
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation as per regulatory and hospital standards
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for spare parts, warranty claims, and updates
• Equipment Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance equipment performance to ensure reliability and efficiency

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic, surgical, and life-support equipment
• Experience with electromechanical and electronic medical devices
• Familiarity with hospital infrastructure and medical gas systems (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma / Degree in Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical or related field
• Relevant experience in medical equipment servicing preferred

Work Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to healthcare facilities for on-site service
• Ability to handle field service responsibilities independently
