Biomedical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, servicing, calibration, and AMC/CMC activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely repair to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance logs, calibration reports, and service history.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards, safety regulations, and biomedical engineering protocols.
• Assist in the procurement, evaluation, and commissioning of new biomedical equipment.
• Train doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff on the proper use and basic maintenance of medical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all biomedical devices are functioning safely and efficiently.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management to support the effective functioning of the Biomedical Engineering Department.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Only male candidates are preferred
2. Qualification : B.E B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering
3. Candidate having hospital experience are preferred
