BIM Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager MEP to lead and manage BIM delivery across MEP projects in accordance with UK BIM standards, ISO 19650 principles, project information requirements, and client specific BIM requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete BIM workflow from design development through construction and As-Built/handover stages, ensuring that models, drawings, asset information and project data are developed and delivered to the required standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UK BIM workflows, ISO 19650, LOD/LOI requirements, COBie data, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Common Data Environment (CDE) processes, Scan to BIM and design to As-Built information delivery.

The role requires a technically strong and commercially aware BIM professional who can lead a team, manage project information requirements, coordinate with UK-based clients and consultants, and ensure that BIM deliverables are accurate, coordinated, compliant and delivered on time.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BIM delivery from Design through As-Built and handover.
• Develop and implement BIM workflows, standards, BEPs and information management processes.
• Ensure compliance with UK BIM standards, ISO 19650, LOD/LOI, COBie and client requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary MEP coordination, clash detection and model QA/QC.
• Develop BIM automation and digital workflows using Dynamo, Revit API and other relevant tools.
• Manage and deliver Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud-to-BIM workflows for existing buildings and refurbishment projects.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve project efficiency.
• Manage, mentor and develop BIM Engineers, Coordinators and Modellers.
• Plan resources, monitor project progress and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with UK clients, consultants and project teams to resolve technical and BIM issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of BIM standards, templates, libraries, workflows and technology
