Billing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credit billing, claim preparation, submission, and settlement.
• Handle billing for ECHS, CGHS, SGHS, NR, Ayushman Bharat, insurance companies, corporates, and other panels.
• Ensure billing as per approved tariffs, packages, MoUs, and panel guidelines.
• Verify patient eligibility, approvals, authorizations, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical records, pharmacy, diagnostics, and accounts teams for accurate billing.
• Monitor pending claims, rejections, deductions, disallowances, and resubmissions.
• Follow up for outstanding payments and maintain panel-wise ageing and receivables.
• Reconcile bills, payments, deductions, and outstanding amounts with the Accounts Department.
• Maintain updated records of panel tariffs, packages, agreements, and billing guidelines.
• Prepare regular MIS reports on billing, claims, collections, outstanding, and rejections.
• Ensure compliance with panel requirements and support internal/external audits.
• Supervise and guide the credit billing team and resolve escalated billing issues.

Qualification & Experience

• BAMS/BDS/BHMS/MBA/MHA
• Experience in hospital credit billing and government/insurance panel billing.
• Knowledge of ECHS, CGHS, SGHS, NR, Ayushman Bharat, insurance, and corporate billing.
• Good communication, analytical, coordination, and team-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and hospital billing/HMIS software.
