Billing Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Calculate freight charges and prepare accurate customer invoices based on shipment details and approved rates.
• Verify transport receipts, consignment notes (LR/DC), proof of delivery (POD), rate confirmations, and purchase orders.
• Raise and submit customer invoices promptly after shipment delivery.
• Account for all costs as soon as the supporting documents are received.
• Maintain shipment details, invoice records, payment status, and pending billing reports.
• Coordinate with the CS team for buying and selling rates.
• Verify vendor bills and ensure timely, accurate billing and cost accounting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of logistics billing and freight forwarding processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.
• Good numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet billing deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Must have experience working in a logistics firm or hold a graduate degree or diploma in Logistics.
