Billing Executive

Position: Billing Executive
Location: Matcare Maternity & Child Hospital, Viman Nagar, Pune
Experience: 2 to 6 Years
Industry Preference: Hospital / Healthcare Billing
Shift: Rotational Shifts (Mandatory)

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle all inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) billing activities accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, verify, and process patient bills, cash collections, receipts, and refunds.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, insurance teams, and patients for billing-related queries.
• Ensure accurate charge capture for treatments, investigations, procedures, and pharmacy services.
• Maintain billing records and support documentation as per hospital policies.
• Assist in insurance, TPA, and cashless billing processes.
• Reconcile daily billing transactions and submit reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing protocols and statutory requirements.
• Address patient queries professionally and provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills

• Experience in Hospital Billing, Medical Billing, IPD/OPD Billing, or Healthcare Accounts.
• Knowledge of TPA, Insurance, Cashless Claims, and Hospital Management Systems (HMS) preferred.
• Good understanding of billing procedures, documentation, and reconciliation.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and computer applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Eligibility

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in hospital billing or healthcare operations.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts is mandatory.
