Billing Executive Jewellery Retail

Role & responsibilities

• Handle daily billing transactions for gold, diamond and silver jewellery.
• Generate accurate customer invoices and bills using billing software.
• Calculate jewellery prices based on weight, making charges, wastage, applicable taxes and other charges as per store policy.
• Verify item details, product codes, weights and prices before generating bills.
• Handle cash, card, UPI and other payment transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with the sales team for smooth customer billing.
• Maintain daily billing records and assist with cash reconciliation.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments professionally.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and proper maintenance of billing records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail billing is preferred; jewellery billing experience will be an advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing software.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Honest, punctual, responsible and willing to learn.
• Knowledge of Kannada is essential; English and other local languages will be an advantage.
