Billing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accurate and timely billing for projects, including interim and final bills.
• Review and verify project contractors bill, purchase orders, and scope of work to ensure accurate billing.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary documentation for billing purposes.
• Prepare detailed billing reports and cost statements, ensuring alignment with project progress and contract terms.
• Monitor and track project costs and budgets, identifying any discrepancies and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Review and process contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain detailed records of all billing-related documents and transactions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in billing, cost control, or quantity surveying within the civil engineering or construction industry
• Strong understanding of civil engineering project billing practices, cost estimation, and contract management.
• Experience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
