Billing Engineer- Underground Metro Rail Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and process subcontractor RA bills and final bills.
• Verify executed quantities from drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
• Coordinate with site engineers for joint measurement and work verification.
• Check bills as per work orders, contract rates, and approved variations.
• Prepare measurement sheets, abstracts, and billing summaries.
• Reconcile quantities, materials, advances, recoveries, and retention amounts.
• Process extra items, deviation statements, and rate analysis for non-BOQ work.
• Maintain billing registers, work order records, and supporting documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, and contract conditions.
• Experience in subcontractor billing and client billing.
• Understanding of RA Bills, Final Bills, MB (Measurement Book), and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

• B.E./B.Tech Civil
• 5+ years of experience in Metro Rail projects (Mandatory)
