Big Data Engineer

Job Summary

Grade: G4 We are looking for a Hands-on Data Architect with 6-8 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, preferably in the CRO/Pharma industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), data modeling, data governance, database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop and maintain data architecture standards, data management conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards, and metadata standards.
• Work extensively on MDM initiatives/projects to ensure accurate, consistent, and governed master data across systems.
• Establish data standards, metadata management policies, and security frameworks to ensure data integrity, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, analytics, application, and engineering teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across platforms.
• Ensure data architecture aligns with business goals, security requirements, regulatory standards, and performance expectations.
• Support and guide data integration efforts involving databases, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines
