BI Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced BI Technical Project Manager to spearhead our enterprise analytics modernization programs. You will serve as the critical bridge between business leadership and data engineering squads, driving complex delivery roadmaps, architectural cutovers, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Migration & Modernization: Own end-to-end migration roadmaps from OBIEE (RPD layers, reports, and web catalogs) to next-generation cloud analytics platforms, ensuring strict data reconciliation, performance optimization, and seamless cutover strategies.
• Agile Project Governance: Direct sprint cadences, scope baselines, resource capacity, dependencies, and risk mitigation using Jira/Agile frameworks to ensure on-time, budget-conscious project execution.
• Technical Translation & Scope Definition: Partner with executive stakeholders to deconstruct complex business goals and KPIs into granular technical specifications, data models, and sprint deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Orchestrate data engineers, BI developers, ETL specialists, and QA teams throughout the SDLC, resolving technical blockers and enforcing development standards.
• Change Enablement & User Adoption: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), report validation frameworks, and training initiatives to accelerate organizational transition away from legacy tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 10+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, including at least 4 years leading complex technical delivery programs. PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM credentials preferred.
• Legacy BI Depth: Strong foundational knowledge of OBIEE (11g/12c) internalsspecifically the three-layer RPD architecture, BI Publisher, security models, and catalog structures.
• Modern Cloud Stack: Hands-on experience with modern visualization ecosystems (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Oracle Analytics Cloud) and strong SQL, data modeling (Star/Snowflake), and cloud data warehouse concepts (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks).
• Proven Migration Playbook: Demonstrated success executing large-scale BI migrations, including parallel-run validation and legacy platform decommissioning.
• Stakeholder & Delivery Acumen: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of managing executive expectations, competing priorities, and multi-disciplinary teams.
