Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and manage BI analysts, developers and data engineers; assign and prioritize tasks, conduct performance reviews and drive upskilling and knowledge sharing.
- BI Solution Delivery: Define BI architecture, data modelling, ETL and reporting approach, and lead the design of scalable dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL Server and related tools.
- Dynamics 365 Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Dynamics 365 with other data sources for comprehensive reporting and analytics.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Work with project managers, functional consultants and technical teams on requirements; engage clients and share regular updates on status, timelines and quality.
- Project Delivery & Risk: Partner with project managers on scope, timelines and budget; mitigate risks such as data quality, resourcing and scope changes; prepare status reports and project reviews.
- Quality & Best Practices: Establish best practices for data modeling, ETL, reporting and testing; oversee QA of all BI deliverables and continuously optimize processes for performance and cost.
- Data Governance & Security: Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards, security policies and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Information Security: Comply with DynaTech IT&IS policies and cybersecurity regulations; support cybersecurity programs, risk reviews and incident response; approve access on a role-based, minimum-necessary basis.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field; Power BI, Data Engineering or other BI certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in BI roles, including 3+ years leading BI or data engineering teams.
- Dynamics 365 / ERP / CRM: Experience in data integration, reporting and analytics.
- BI & Data Skills: Hands-on with Power BI, SSRS, Tableau or similar tools; strong in SQL, ETL, data warehousing and data modeling.
- Cloud (Advantage): Knowledge of Azure or AWS data solutions and cross-platform integration.
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a BI team across multiple projects.
- Agile Delivery: Collaborate with project managers to deliver BI solutions on time.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot data issues and optimize BI solutions.
- Communication & Teamwork: Communicate clearly with all stakeholders; strong team player.
