About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop BI solutions using Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Build and maintain LookML models, views, explores, dimensions, and measures.
- Design scalable data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, CTEs, window functions, and reporting logic.
- Build data pipelines using dbt, Dataflow, Informatica, and Airflow.
- Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, operational reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Implement data governance, data quality standards, and security controls.
- Optimize BI performance through query tuning, caching, and aggregate awareness.
Preferred candidate profile
- BI Tools: Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau.
- LookML: Views, Explores, PDTs, Dimensions, Measures, Sets.
- Data Modeling: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault.
- SQL: Advanced SQL, Window Functions, CTEs, Query Optimization.
- Data Warehousing: BigQuery, Partitioning, Clustering, Materialized Views.
- ETL/ELT: dbt, Dataflow, Informatica, Airflow.
- Programming: SQL, Python.
