Bench Sales Recruiter

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and market IT consultants who are available on the bench for new project opportunities.
• Identify and connect with US IT staffing vendors, implementation partners, recruiters, and direct clients to generate requirements.
• Market consultants through vendor networks, job portals, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other professional platforms.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, interview schedules, and placement terms with vendors and clients.
• Maintain and regularly update consultant profiles, resumes, availability, skills, visa status, location, and contact information.
• Match consultant skill sets with suitable job requirements and submit profiles accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, recruiters, and clients.
• Follow up on submitted resumes, interviews, feedback, offers, and onboarding status.
• Coordinate with recruiters and consultants to prepare candidates for interviews and ensure timely availability.
• Track daily submissions, responses, interviews, placements, and other bench sales activities.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor contacts, requirements, submissions, and pipeline activity.
• Research new vendors and staffing companies to expand the company's client/vendor network.
• Meet daily and monthly submission, interview, and placement targets.
• Stay updated on the US IT staffing market, technologies, visa categories, and hiring trends.
• Ensure professional and timely communication with consultants, vendors, and clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in US IT Bench Sales / Recruitment
• Strong knowledge of US staffing and recruitment processes
• Experience working with OPT, CPT, H1B and other visa categories
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in a night-shift environment
