Behavioural Counselor / Psychologist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students.
• Identify behavioural concerns and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Support students in managing stress, anxiety, emotional difficulties, and interpersonal conflicts.
• Conduct workshops and awareness programmes on mental health, emotional intelligence, and life skills.
• Collaborate with faculty, parents, and university administration, where appropriate.
• Maintain confidential counselling records and follow professional ethical standards.
• Refer students to qualified mental health professionals when specialized support is required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a relevant discipline.
• Relevant counselling experience in an educational institution or university will be preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and student-handling skills.
• Empathy, patience, professional integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially.
• Ph.D. degree is desirable.
