Behavioral Therapist

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions with children as per the prescribed clinical protocols.
• Build a good rapport with children and their parents.
• Introduce yourself to parents and explain the session process.
• Provide parents with a 23 minute daily summary of the child's session.
• Provide/update ABC sheets after daily sessions.
• Work closely with the Senior Behavioural Therapist and discuss doubts or challenges.
• Attend assessment meetings and remain with the child during assessments.
• Understand the purpose and rationale of the procedures being used.
• Update each assigned child's VB-MAPP progress every week and maintain appropriate progress graphs.
• Maintain daily session summaries and required records.
• Keep the therapy/session room clean and organized, including arranging toys after sessions.
• Follow all organizational policies, values, and professional standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: any qualification
• Good communication: Should be able to communicate clearly with children, parents, and senior therapists.
• Patience: Should be patient and able to manage children during therapy sessions.
• Willingness to learn: Should accept feedback and be open to continuous training and development.
