Beach Marshal

Job Summary


Key Responsibilities

• Patrol designated beach areas and monitor for unsafe, illegal or unauthorised activity.
• Guide tourists and visitors on beach safety rules and responsible beach practices.
• Identify and report unauthorised vendors, water sports, vehicles, alcohol consumption, littering and other violations.
• Support crowd management and maintain a visible, professional presence on the beach.
• Report suspicious sea access, unauthorised vessel landings and incidents involving marine life.
• Operate ATVs, jeeps and e-cycles as assigned, and keep beach vehicles and equipment in good order.
• Coordinate with Lifeguards, Sagar Safar, Paw Squad, Training and other beach operations teams.
• Record attendance, incidents, photographs and patrol updates through the mobile and digital reporting systems, and escalate concerns immediately.

Qualifications Skills

• Graduate in any discipline - mandatory.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written - mandatory. Hindi and Konkani are an advantage.
• Comfortable with mobile apps, GPS and maps, digital reporting tools and basic computer applications.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
• Confident, polite and professional with the public, while firm in enforcing regulations.
• Able to stay calm and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid LMV driving licence preferred, depending on deployment.
