Beach Administrator / Operations Executive

Job Overview


Administrative Duties

• Report and maintain daily data, attendance and incident records.
• Administer lifeguard attendance, weekly offs and leave in conjunction with the Beach Captain.
• Follow up with the maintenance department on open jobs and prepare weekly reports.
• Inspect and audit beach operations, and carry out stock audits of stores and towers.
• Maintain documentation related to the QMS system, and assist the Lifeguard Centre and Tower upkeep.
• Explain welfare measures and assist lifeguards with PF, ESIC claims and form applications.
• Operate beach technology - biometrics, cameras, beach robots, surveillance systems and related equipment.
• Interact with tourists and educate them on beach safety rules.

Lifeguarding Duties

• Perform beach and inland water body lifeguard duties where posted, safeguarding bathers in coastal and inland waters.
• Rescue swimmers and administer first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required.
• Attend to participants injured during water sports and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Mark safe swimming areas with flags and buoys, and maintain beach warning and information signage.
• Maintain and clean rescue equipment, the working space and tower.
• Maintain daily logs, attend in-service training and keep to the physical condition the job requires.

Qualifications Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Computer and tech savvy.
• Holds a two wheeler licence.
• Based out of North Goa.
• Ability to communicate in English and Konkani / Marathi.
