BDM - Safety Solutions

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for safety consulting and risk management services.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, industry events and direct client engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with HSE Heads, Plant Heads, EHS Managers, Operations Heads, HR Heads and senior management.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate safety solutions. Promote services such as:

• Safety Audits
• EHS Audits
• Compliance Audits
• Risk Assessments
• Process Safety Management (PSM)
• HAZOP / PHA Studies
• Fire & Life Safety Assessments
• Electrical Safety Audits
• Industrial Hygiene Services
• Safety Training & Competency Development
• Emergency Preparedness & Disaster Management
• Sustainability / ESG-related services.

• Prepare proposals, commercial offers and presentations in coordination with technical teams.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.
• Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure effective delivery of client requirements.
• Track sales pipeline, prepare MIS reports and achieve revenue targets.
• Develop key accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and emerging safety requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, industry conferences, seminars and networking events.
• Ensure timely follow-up on proposals, quotations and commercial discussions.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 510 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably in safety consulting, EHS, engineering services, risk management or industrial services.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety and EHS services.
• Experience in selling safety audits, risk assessments, compliance services, process safety or safety consulting will be preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving business development / revenue targets.
• Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and proposal-writing skills.
• Ability to understand technical safety requirements and translate them into business solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development activities.
