Job Title: Business Development Manager Transportation & Logistics (Hybrid, Day Shift)

About the Role:
We are looking for a BD Manager to drive sustainable business growth in the transportation and logistics domain. You will combine business development, account operations and data-led planning to win new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end business development: identify high-value opportunities, create proposals and convert prospects into long-term clients
Manage business operations for assigned accounts: track KPIs and improve service reliability, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction
¢ Analyse sales pipelines, operations and financial performance to guide pricing, resource allocation and continuous improvement
¢ Build business planning models covering demand forecasts, capacity utilization and revenue targets
¢ Work with operations, finance and technology teams to turn client requirements into feasible solutions that improve shipment visibility and on-time delivery
¢ Prepare account review decks, performance summaries and executive updates
¢ Create dashboards tracking pipeline health, conversion ratios, route performance and margin trends
¢ Support contract negotiations and renewals using performance data and value-delivered insights
¢ Monitor market trends, regulations and competitors to sharpen go-to-market positioning
¢ Coordinate business continuity communication, including escalation flows during service disruptions
¢ Set up effective collaboration routines for onsite and remote teams
¢ Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Requirements:
¢ Extensive experience in business operations management within transportation and logistics
¢ Strong business analysis and planning skills, including scenario modelling, route optimization and capacity utilization
¢ Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills
¢ Deep knowledge of freight management, multimodal movements and supply chain coordination
¢ Proficiency in business productivity and analytical/reporting tools (Excel, dashboards, PowerPoint)
¢ Comfortable working in a hybrid model with day-shift collaboration across dispersed teams
