Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities.

Review and control accounting transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.

Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of customers, vendors, banks, statutory accounts and other major ledgers.

Prepare and regularly update liability statements, including vendor, statutory and other outstanding liabilities.

Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements and coordinate for timely payments.

Prepare daily/weekly cash flow and payment plans based on available funds and business requirements.

Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.

Ensure timely booking of purchases, expenses, bills, receipts and payments.

Coordinate with site/accounts teams for proper accounting and submission of bills and supporting documents.

Review bank transactions and bank reconciliations.

Identify accounting discrepancies, pending entries and unreconciled balances and ensure timely resolution.

Assist in monthly closing, MIS and financial reporting.

Monitor statutory dues and coordinate with the compliance team for timely payments and filings.

Ensure proper documentation and internal financial controls over transactions.
