Battery Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and modify EV battery pack and battery module components.
• Design and route busbars considering electrical clearance, packaging, and manufacturability.
• Support HV/LV architecture, electrical packaging, and PDU integration.
• Design battery housings, covers, brackets, sheet metal, and plastic components.
• Support NMC cell-based battery pack and module development.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFMEA principles.
• Support design validation, prototype testing, and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Electrical, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams.
• Manage CAD data and product structures in Teamcenter PLM.
