Batching Plant Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the rotatory chute to ensure proper aggregate distribution in the raw material bins.
• Coordinate with the Chemist for unloading raw materials from bulkers and loading them into silos.
• Monitor JCB operations and ensure proper feeding of raw materials into the conveyor belt.
• Ensure accurate batching as per orders received from Ticketing/Customer Services and maintain batch variations within prescribed tolerances.
• Verify Dispatch Challan (DC) details and ensure order accuracy.
• Ensure optimum utilization of plant, machinery, and manpower.
• Monitor TM availability and report breakdowns to the concerned team.
• Track and maintain records of electricity, diesel consumption, power factor, and other electrical maintenance data.
• Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of the batching plant and electrical equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and proper functioning of gensets and other plant equipment.
