Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bancassurance role based in Raipur. The role involves working closely with bank branches to promote and sell HDFC Life insurance products to bank customers, ensuring that their protection, savings, investment, and retirement needs are appropriately addressed. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with bank staff, conducting customer meetings, explaining product features, and recommending suitable plans. The role also requires achieving sales targets, tracking leads, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. In addition, the position involves participating in branch-level training, sales campaigns, and customer engagement activities to drive consistent business growth.
Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to achieve and exceed targets in a bancassurance or financial services environment.
• Customer relationship management and interpersonal skills to build trust with bank staff and customers, and provide clear, empathetic guidance.
• Basic knowledge of insurance, banking, or financial products, along with the ability to explain product features and benefits in a simple, accurate manner.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English and local language as relevant.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail, record-keeping, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with bank teams on-site in Raipur, along with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and resolving issues.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; a degree in finance, business, or related fields and prior experience in insurance or banking sales are advantageous.
• Comfort with basic computer applications and digital tools for reporting, customer tracking, and product presentations.
