    About this role

Company Description At Aksa Ayurveda, we specialize in natural Ayurvedic treatments for a wide range of health conditions, including kidney issues, diabetes, liver problems, PCOD, psoriasis, and erectile dysfunction. Our experienced practitioners and researchers apply traditional Ayurvedic principles to deliver holistic, evidence-informed care. We focus on identifying and treating root causes rather than just symptoms, enabling personalized treatment plans for each individual. Our approach is designed to support long-term health, overall well-being, and sustainable results for the people we serve.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BAMS Doctor role based at our clinic in Model Town. The BAMS Doctor will conduct detailed patient consultations, perform Ayurvedic assessments, and prescribe individualized treatment plans, including herbal formulations, diet, and lifestyle recommendations. The role involves monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with other Ayurvedic practitioners and clinic staff to ensure coordinated care. The BAMS Doctor will also provide health education to patients, support ongoing clinical research initiatives, and uphold all clinic protocols and ethical standards. Participation in case discussions, continuous learning, and quality improvement activities is expected.
    Qualifications
    • Recognized BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree and valid registration/license to practice Ayurveda as per local regulations.
    • Strong knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts, diagnostic methods (Nadi Pariksha, Prakriti assessment, etc.), and treatment modalities including herbal preparations, Panchakarma, and lifestyle counseling.
    • Ability to conduct thorough clinical evaluations, interpret laboratory reports, and integrate Ayurvedic and basic modern medical understanding in patient care.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment plans clearly, build patient trust, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Good record-keeping and basic computer skills for managing electronic patient records and documentation.
    • Experience or interest in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, renal disorders, liver disease, PCOD, skin conditions, and sexual health concerns is an advantage.
    • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development through training, seminars, and case reviews.
    • Previous clinical experience in an Ayurvedic hospital or clinic setting is preferred, but motivated early-career practitioners with internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
