Backup & Storage Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Required: Block Storage (IBM/Infinidat), Comvault (or similar) Backup; Good To Have: NetApp (or any NAS product)

Location: Domlur, Bangalore

Technical / Behavioral -

• Strong administrative knowledge of storage subsystems and Block storage (IBM/ Infinidat) /File storage (NetApp) & Object Infrastructure is a must

• Strong knowledge on Commvault Backup software (preferred) or any backup software is must

• Good working knowledge on Fiber Channel SAN & iSCSI protocol

• Knowledge of any NAS product (NetApp)

• Knowledge of Hyper-converged Environment

• Administrative knowledge of one or more primary operating systems

• Good verbal and written communication

• Good influencing skills, including ability to negotiate and execute strategies with peers and colleagues / partners across organizational boundaries

• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
