Backend Python Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain web applications using FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Work with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Integrate and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SES, ECS, and EKS.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand business requirements.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Write efficient SQL queries and use ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Implement security, scalability, and reliability best practices.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and MCP tools to improve development efficiency.
• Use project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, YouTrack, or Asana.
