About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS serverless technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. You will play a key role in building secure APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs using Python
  
• Build, package, and deploy microservices on AWS
  
• Work extensively with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM)
  
• Implement data models and ensure efficient database interactions
  
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality code
  
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for production systems
  
• Participate in design discussions and provide technical guidance
  
• Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
  
• Experience with microservices architecture
  
• Solid understanding of AWS serverless services
  
• Experience in unit testing and integration testing
  
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and observability
  
• Experience in API development and backend system design
  

Desired Skills (Good to Have)

• Flask / FastAPI experience
  
• CI/CD exposure
  
• Database experience (SQL / NoSQL)
  
• Production support and troubleshooting experience
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills to explain design and technical decisions
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
  
• Good documentation and collaboration skills
  

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Systems
  
• 7–9 years of relevant backend development experience
