Backend Python Developer

Technical skills: Python, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), SQL , Microservices

Experience level: 6 -8 years

Location: Working from Wayfair Bangalore office thrice a week (Mon, Wed, Fri)

Expectations:

•             Strong Python backend development experience.
•             Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven systems, as the project is heavily Kafka-based.
•             Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery (GBQ), along with strong SQL skills.
•             Knowledge of GraphQL & Dataflow is an added advantage.
•             Ability to troubleshoot production issues and participate in production support/on-call activities.
•             Strong backend engineering experience with the ability to understand interactions across multiple backend services.
•             Experience working with highly available & scalable systems and multiple data streams.
•             Experience of supply chain domain is an added advantage but is not a must.
