Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A digital agreement and document workflow platform that helps businesses create, execute, sign, and manage legally compliant documents digitally. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. Build and maintain REST APIs powering document and workflow journeys. Develop backend workflows for high-volume document execution and automation. Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external systems reliably. Design efficient database schemas, queries, and data-access layers. Build secure services with appropriate authentication, authorization, and data protection. Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews. Monitor, debug, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and other engineering teams to ship production features.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build reliable, scalable backend systems powering high-volume digital document, agreement, and workflow journeys. You ll work primarily with Python, building APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and services that handle secure and compliance-sensitive business processes.
