Backend Engineer

As an early member of the engineering team, you will work closely with the founders and play a key role in shaping the product and technology from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the founders and contribute to key product and technology decisions.
• Build core systems and products from scratch.
• Take end-to-end ownership across architecture, engineering, product decisions, and execution.
• Work deeply with AI/ML, GenAI, and modern engineering technologies to solve meaningful B2B problems.
• Design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• Help establish engineering practices, culture, and the technical foundation of the company.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them from idea to architecture to implementation to production.
• Contribute as one of the early engineering hires and have significant impact on the company's technical direction.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering background with a Computer Science / CSE or closely related technical degree.
• Experience working with strong B2B SaaS / B2B product companies.
• Experience in AI / ML / GenAI / AI SaaS companies or strong hands-on exposure to AI-driven products.
• Strong experience in 01 product or platform development.
• Demonstrated ownership of architecture, system design, coding, and technical execution.
• Strong problem-solving and engineering fundamentals.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, high-ownership and ambiguous environment.
• Ability to work closely with founders and take independent ownership of critical technical problems.

Education Preference:

• Top IITs / NITs / IIITs preferred.
• Strong candidates from Tier-2 engineering colleges can also be considered if they demonstrate exceptional technical depth, product experience, and 01 ownership.
• Candidates from strong B2B SaaS, AI/ML, GenAI, deep-tech, developer infrastructure, or technology product companies are preferred.
