About this role
As the backend engineer, you will architect and build the DevOps platform engine that powers deployments across AWS, GCP, Azure and On-Prem environments. You’ll design scalable systems that automate environment provisioning, orchestration, and runtime reliability.
What you’ll do
- Build distributed backend services, APIs, pipelines, and workflow engines
- Architect infrastructure automation layers and scalable deployment logic
- Integrate cloud services (AWS ECS/EKS/Lambda/VPC/IAM etc.)
- Ship production-critical features rapidly with high reliability
- Write clean, well-tested code and collaborate closely with business stakeholders
- Shape product direction based on real customer feedback
Requirements
- 3–4 years backend development experience in Go and NodeJS/Typescript
- Experience with Postgres or any other relational database
- Strong foundation in AWS/GCP/Azure services, cloud networking, and system design
- Experience with containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
- Experience working on Kubernetes
- Experience writing Terraform/Pulumi
- Comfortable deploying & operating real production systems on AWS/GCP/Azure, and handling incidents.
Nice to have
- Observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Worked in platform/infrastructure/dev-tool products previously
- Have contributed to open source libraries/frameworks
