Backend Engineer - Golang

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Build and optimise microservices and distributed systems on AWS.
• Develop robust REST APIs and integrate internal and external services.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work with Product, Mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Participate in HLD/LLD, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Take ownership of projects from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements:

• Backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
• Good understanding of DSA, concurrency, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems.
• Working knowledge of HLD/LLD and system design.
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
• Build and scale AI-powered consumer products.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Founders.
• Solve real-world problems involving scale, performance, and distributed systems.
