Backend Engineer at A FinTech Company

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies.
• Build, test, and deploy applications for millions of users.
• Work with engineering teams across different locations.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices, SOA, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Kafka and messaging systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable applications.
• Knowledge of multithreading and database concepts.
• Understanding of reactive programming in Java is a plus.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail systems is an advantage.
