Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BackEnd Developer role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The BackEnd Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs that power Curator’s retail infrastructure platform. Daily responsibilities include implementing backend services, integrating data sources, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role involves collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features, troubleshoot issues, and improve code quality. The BackEnd Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help evolve Curator’s technical stack and best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills.
• Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Front-End Development concepts for effective collaboration with UI teams.
• Candidates should possess experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Candidates should possess the ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow modern software engineering practices.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a collaborative, on-site environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
• Experience with high-scale systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and ecommerce or retail technology is an advantage.
