Role Description This full-time Backend Developer role at Curator is an on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power Curator’s infrastructure for D2C brands. Daily responsibilities include implementing scalable backend services, integrating front-end components, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role involves collaborating with other engineers and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The Backend Developer will also participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and help improve development best practices and tooling.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side services.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development and Programming skills for designing, implementing, and testing robust applications.
• Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills for creating maintainable and modular codebases.
• Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development understanding to effectively integrate backend services with client-side interfaces.
• Candidates should possess experience with modern backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based environment.
• Candidates should possess a relevant educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in e-commerce or D2C systems is a plus.
