Backend Developer

Job Summary

We need an experienced Backend Developer to architect and maintain server-side logic for our ERP, HRMS and fleet management platforms. You will design robust APIs, optimise database performance and ensure reliability at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
• Design and optimise MySQL/MariaDB schemas for high-volume transactional data
• Develop business logic for ERP, payroll, fleet and attendance modules
• Implement authentication, authorisation and data-security layers
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality standards
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in PHP (OOP, PSR standards) and MySQL
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and consumption
• Experience with caching, queuing and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Linux server administration
• Bonus: Experience with HRMS, ERP or fintech systems
