Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the backend architecture of our platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Python , Django , PostgreSQL , and Redis , ensuring that our systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend systems using Python and Django .

• Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL to design efficient data models and queries.

• Implement caching solutions using Redis to optimize system performance.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend components.

• Containerize applications using Docker to ensure portability and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices in backend development.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems to maintain uptime and performance.

• Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies, bringing innovation to our architecture.

Required Skills :

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with the Django framework.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL , and experience with complex query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and improving performance.

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Strong experience with designing scalable backend architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

• Proficient in version control using Git .

• Experience in implementing security best practices in backend systems.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Experience with asynchronous programming using frameworks like Celery .

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e. g. , Terraform).

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced development cycles.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

• A portfolio or GitHub showcasing your backend projects and contributions.
