Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong system-design fundamentals, API development experience, and the ability deliver with responsibility + build reliable production-grade services.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python, MSSQL, Redis, Celery, FastAPI, and MongoDB.

- Deep understanding of web development frameworks and RESTful API design.

- Experience with asynchronous programming and task queues (e.g., Celery).

- Proficiency in database design and optimization for both relational (MSSQL) and NoSQL

(MongoDB) databases.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

- Strong knowledge of database design and SQL.

- Experience with microservices and scalable distributed systems.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, Git, and code quality practices.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is a

plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.

- Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements

gathering to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

- Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in Python, MSSQL, Redis, Celery, FastAPI, and MongoDB, providing hands-on development and troubleshooting as needed.

- Code Quality: Ensure the team adheres to coding standards and best practices, conducting code reviews and maintaining high-quality codebases.

- System Architecture: Collaborate with other technical leads and architects to design and implement scalable and robust system architectures.

- Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies,

recommending and implementing improvements to processes and tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and project management tools (e.g., ADO).

Other Qualifications

- Strong practical experience building and operating enterprise-scale backend systems is preferred.
