Job Title: Senior Python Developer - AI Platforms & Agentic AI Application

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in building scalable backend applications using Python, Django, FastAPI, and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade applications and exposure to building or integrating Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, and AI platforms. This role involves designing and developing intelligent applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, workflow orchestration frameworks, and modern cloud-native architectures. The candidate will work closely with Product, AI/ML, and Platform Engineering teams to build next-generation AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

Python Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build high-performance APIs using Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and FastAPI.
• Develop reusable, secure, and maintainable microservices.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API security, rate limiting, and performance optimization.
• Write clean, testable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

AI Application Development

• Build and integrate AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Develop conversational AI, copilots, intelligent assistants, and workflow automation solutions.
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Integrate external tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms into AI workflows.
• Build multi-agent systems capable of planning, reasoning, and executing complex business processes.
• Develop prompt management, memory handling, tool calling, and agent orchestration capabilities.

Data Engineering & AI Integration

• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets.
• Manage and optimize the data layer for AI/ML applications.
• Build scalable ETL workflows and integrate with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based systems.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across AI workflows

AI Platform & Integration

• Contribute to the development of internal AI platforms and reusable AI services.
• Integrate AI models from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs.
• Work with vector databases and semantic search systems.
• Develop AI service layers for scalable enterprise deployments.
• Support model evaluation, observability, monitoring, and feedback collection.

Cloud & DevOps Collaboration

• Deploy applications using Docker and container-based environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with platform teams on Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
• Ensure application scalability, availability, and security.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development and API design.
• Proven expertise in data engineering: pipelines, ETL, data modeling, and database management.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience with deployment of LLM applications on GPU-powered infrastructure (NVIDIA GPUs, AWS/GCP/Azure GPU instances, Kubernetes GPU orchestration).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue).
• Experience with version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable AI deployments.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed computing, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in data governance, performance optimization, and cost-efficient ML model deployment.
